Travel Health Certification

Get Ready for Takeoff

Planning a trip with your furry copilots? We can help you get a pet health certificate so your dog, cat, or other qualifying companion animal is cleared for domestic and international travel. A certificate from our USDA-accredited vets shows your pet is healthy and fit to fly — and we make the whole process as smooth as possible!

Travel Requirements Made Simple

Domestic Travel (Within the U.S.)

  • Many airlines don’t require a formal health certificate for pets flying in the cabin, but check your carrier’s rules before you book.

  • Some states or territories (like Hawaii) do have entry requirements, so keep proof of vaccinations — especially rabies — handy. Check your destination’s requirements HERE.

International Travel

Most countries require all pets entering from the U.S. to have a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian, typically within 10 days of departure.
Here’s what that generally includes:

  • A wellness exam confirming your pet is free of contagious disease and fit to travel.
  • Pet’s details (breed, age, weight) and proof of vaccinations — rabies vaccination is almost always required.
  • Some countries also ask for things like microchip ID, specific test results, or even additional treatments (like parasite prevention).
  •  If required by the destination, a USDA endorsement (official stamp) may be needed after your vet issues the certificate.

Remember: Every country sets its own rules — there’s no single global pet passport — so start planning early and check requirements for each destination your pet will visit HERE.
